A colostomy plate, also known as an ostomy pouch or bag, is a medical device used by people who have undergone a surgery that results in a colostomy. A colostomy is a surgical procedure in which a part of the colon is brought to the surface of the abdomen via an opening called the stoma.

The colostomy plate is attached to the stoma and collects the fecal material that would normally pass out of the body through the rectum.
